Dr. Megan Prictor

Dr. Megan Prictor is a Senior Lecturer at Melbourne Law School, the University of Melbourne.  Megan is a lawyer with extensive prior research experience in healthcare communication and consumer engagement, and a PhD in the humanities.  Megan’s current research sits at the nexus of law and emerging health technologies.  These include innovative informed consent tools, genomics, clinical decision support and health data regulation. She held a 2021 Early Career Researcher Award for research in genomic data and electronic medical records. Megan is a member of the HeLEX research programme and works closely with the University’s Centre for Digital Transformation of Health.  She teaches at Melbourne Law School in the JD and Masters programmes as well as in breadth subjects at the University of Melbourne.
