Possibilities and potential bring together the threads of Monica’s career. Working with and for individuals, families, communities, organisations and sectors, committed to equity and fairness, for many years Monica has worked across the community, health, education, business and government sectors. Her journey led her to start a strategy focused consulting business, Bold and Brave Consulting in 2011, Toilet Training Educators in 2016 and to become the CEO of the Genetic Support Network of Victoria in 2017. Monica is actively engaged on many Boards, Committees, Research Projects and Advisory Groups including Asia Pacific Alliance of Rare Disease Organisations, Collaborative Global Network for Rare Disease, Balibo House Trust, Involve Australia, National Patient Organisation Network, Mackenzie’s Mission Engagement Reference Group, Patient Voice Initiative and is an Honorary Fellow of Melbourne University.
