Prof Oliver Hoffman

Prof. Oliver Hoffman is the Head of Bioinformatics at the University of Melbourne Centre for Cancer Research and a Professor in the Department of Clinical Pathology. His team builds platforms and workflows for rapid whole genome analysis of cancer patients. He has previously worked in Scotland on the National Genome Partnership program and developed a bioinformatics core for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He co-leads the AGHA Data Management Program [with Prof Amanda Spurdle and Prof Daniel MacArthur] and the GA4GH Large Scale Genomics work stream [with Dr Geraldine Van der Auwera].
